Description: I was tasked to depict a model of a room that I have a strong emotional connection with, so I decided to use my bedroom. First, I created a small model of my bedroom using cardboard. After that, I set up a flashlight and piece of black paper to create the dramatic lighting. I really enjoyed this project because it was challenging to create an image that accurately portrayed the angular nature of the model, the texture of the cardboard, and the intense light and shadows present.
The left image is the cardboard model of my bedroom. It is made of cardboard, denim, tape, and hot glue.
The right image shows the setup I used to create dramatic lighting.
